Description
Deutsch: Die aus HRSC-Stereobilddaten abgeleiteten digitalen Geländemodelle ermöglichen die Berechnung von perspektivischen Ansichten der Marslandschaft. Damit lassen sich geologische Phänomene und Prozesse oft sehr viel besser als in einer Draufsicht visuell erfassen. In dieser Ansicht erkennt man gut den verwitterten Kraterrand und die Spuren verschiedener Meteoriteneinschläge.

This often allows geological phenomena and processes to be captured visually much better than in a plan view.
