Summary[edit]

Description
English: Peru from its independence in 1821 until 1851, its first border treaty, which ceded territory to Brazil. Worth noting is that from 1836 to 1839 Peru ceased to exist as a nation and formed part of the Peru-Bolivian Confederation.
