Серед. XIX в. Холст, масло. 48,5 X 44 см.

На изображении в левом нижнем углу авторская надпись: «Писалъ Иван Арабскiй». В правом нижнем углу изображения надпись: «Полковникъ Петръ Дмитреiвичъ Баклановъ родился 1785 года iюня 18 В. Д. изъ казачьих детей». Новочеркасский музей истории донского казачества.

Бакланов, Петр Дмитриевич (1785—1859) — русский полковник, во время Отечественной войны 1812 года пленил генерала Жено, командир полка своего имени с 1829 по 1834 года, кавалер Ордена Св. Георгия за отличие 7 и 8 июля 1829 г при взятии Бургаза в Русско-турецкую войну 1828—1829 гг. на снимке подполковник.
