Description
Српски / srpski: Formacija rimske MANIPULARNE FALANGE (jedna legija). Rimljani su prihvatili grčku falangu, ali su je od drugog punskog rata razvili u efikasniji instrument. “Hastati” su bili najmlađi borici, a “principi” borci srednje starosti. “Triarii” su najstariji borici. Svaka od ovih linija se dijelila na 10 manipula. Manipule hastate i principa imale su po 120 ljudi ( 6 vrsta i 20 redova) a manipule trijara samo po 60 (3 vrste i 20 redova). U manipularnoj falangi legije su postavljane paraleleno. Polibije objašnjava poraz Grka u brbi sa Rimom – razlikom u efikasnosti makedonske i manipularne falange.
