Summary[edit]

Description
English: Smt Phool Wati Devi, widow of late S.S. Malhan, Leading Mechanical Engineer, paid homage to her husband on 1 December 2021 at National War Memorial. She placed petals at the Tablet and laid a wreath at Tyag Chakra. Late S.S. Malhan, LME served onboard INS Khukri during the 1971 war, displayed exceptional courage and made the supreme sacrifice. The wreath laying ceremony was attended by officers from IHQ MoD (Navy). Earlier during the day, Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff and Mrs. Kala Hari Kumar, President NWWA met the family and felicitated them.
