English: Picture of a wide view over the earthworks and construction-sites at the Oosterdijkseiland in April 2005, including a skyline of the old city center of Amsterdam city with all towers and churches; high resolution photo, Fons Heijnsbroek.
Nederlands: Foto, genomen in April 2005 vanaf het dak van het voormalige PTT Post CS-gebouw aan de oostkant van het Centraal Station Amsterdam; het PTT-gebouw is pas in 2011 definitief gesloopt. Geheel links-boven in beeld, de toren van de Oude Kerk, in het midden boven de Sint Nicolaaskerk, en rechtsboven een kap van het Centraal Station; op de voorgrond de bouwput van de nieuwe OBA-bibliotheek, waarvan de bouw is gestart circa 2004; hoge resolutie foto, Fons Heijnsbroek

In the upper left corner the tower of the old Church in the city-center. Above in the middle the tower and dome of the Sint Nicolaas-church. In the very upper-right one cap of the Central Station; on the foreground the starting construction of the new municipal Library OBA. The photo is made from the roof of the high CS Post-office, which was in 2011 completely demolished.
