Description
English: An official card declaring that King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand would, during his monkhood, be known as the priest Bhumibala, written with the Khmer script according to the tradition. The document is known as the Royal Name Card No. 1582.

เมื่อปี 2499 แต่ปรินิพพานแห่งพระผู้มีพระภาคอรหันตสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าล่วงไปแล้ว ในปีปัจจุบันที่ 2500 เมื่อ ณ วันจันทร์ สุรทินที่ 22 ตุลาคมมาส วัสสานฤดู ล่วงเวลา 4 นาฬิกา 23 นาที แต่เที่ยง ภิกษุ พระนามว่า ภูมิพละ อุปสมบทแล้วในพัทธสีมาแห่งวัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดาราม ครั้นล่วงเวลา 5 นาฬิกา 43 นาที แต่เที่ยง ทำทัฬหิกรรม ณ พัทธสีมาแห่งพระพุทธรัตนสถาน มีท่านสุจิตตะ เป็นพระอุปัชฌายะ ท่านอุฏฐายี เป็นพระกรรมวาจาจารย์ ฯ
ขอภูมิพลภิกษุนั้น จงทรงถึงความเจริญงอกงามไพบูลย์ในพระธรรมวินัยที่พระตถาคตเจ้าทรงประกาศแล้ว อนึ่ง ขอภูมิพลภิกษุนั้น ทรงดำรงอยู่ในความเป็นอัครพุทธศาสนูปถัมภก์ จงทรงอุปถัมภ์จัดแจงทะนุบำรุงเพื่อความงอกงามไพบูลย์แห่งพระพุทธศาสนา เทอญ ฯ
