Description
Português: A nau de guerra Nossa Senhora da Lampadosa, de 50 peças, é lançada à água em Lisboa, na Ribeira das Naus, a 21 de Janeiro de 1727, com a família real, à esquerda, e a corte a assistir ao lançamento; em gravura de Setembro do mesmo ano. A nau participaria na campanha do Rio da Prata em 1736-1737, como a mais pequena das naus portuguesas da esquadra.
English: The 50-gun man-of-war Nossa Senhora da Lampadosa is launched in Lisbon on the 21st of January 1727, with the royal family (left) and the court in attendance; in an engraving from September that same year. The warship would later take part in the campaign to the River Plate in 1736-1737, as the smallest warship in the Portuguese squadron on that occasion.
