«Cette oeuvre tout à fait époustouflante et hors pair est l'une des plus grandes de l'artiste, l'oeuvre la plus grande du métro (hormis certains aménagements occupant une station entière), l'oeuvre la plus chère du métro, et le paradigme de l'intégration de l'art avec l'architecture. L'appeler le point de mire de la station serait une sousestimation. La sculpture spatiale, constituée de 28 octaèdres tronquées, étend sa masse quasi organique depuis les points d'appui aux murs et sur les toits du loge du changeur et de la concession, presque atteignant le plafond. Les lampes fluorescentes forment une nuée de lumière dans le volume sobre. Ses formes sont refletées par les motifs carrelés au plancher de la mezzanine.
