Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_68034_DSC_2769.JPG Notes: נמל יפו הוא נמל רדוד נעדר מפרץ טבעי האוניות שפקדו אותו עגנו מחוץ לתחומו בים הפתוח. עבודות הפריקה והטעינה נעשו לדוברות שהוכנסו למעגן בעזרת ספינות גרר קטנות ספינת quotלונץ39quot Launch boat בשפת הנמל. הנוסעים הורדו לספינות קטנות בים הפתוח שהיה חשוף לסערות ולפגעי מזג האוויר. בימי סער כדי שלא להסתכן בהיסחפות אל החוף שבתה מלאכת הפריקה הטעינה והאוניות הפליגו למרחק בטוח מהחוף. ענף ייצוא ההדרים היה בראשית ימי ההתיישבות היהודית ענף הייצוא העיקרי של ארץ ישראל. נמל יפו שימש כנמל המשלוח של ייצוא ויקיפדיה
