Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_68342_20200525_095555.jpg Notes: קריית שרה היא השכונה הראשונה שנבנתה בהר כנען בשנת 1933 עquotי הגב39 שרה לוי שהגיעה לביקור באquotי התאהבה בהר כנען רכשה כ180 דונם מחברת quotצופיהquot שנוסדה עquotי צפתים שרכשו אדמה בהר כנען בשנת 1913 על מנת להקים שכונת גנים מחוץ לצפת. האגודה נתקלה בקשיים רבים שמנעו את תחילת הבנייה ורק בואה של שרה לוי שבנתה 10 בתים נתנה את התנופה להמשך הבנייה. בנוסף לעשרת הבתים אותם השכירה בשכquotד סימלי לתושבי צפת שיסכימו לגור על ההר הקימה מבנה גדול שיועד לבית תרבות ואמנים והפך לבית מלון כיום quotכנען ספא.quot
