Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_71006_1.jpg Notes: אנדרטת מגילת האש היא אנדרטת ברונזה גדולה בגובה 8 מטר ובמשקל כ-15 טון הממוקמת ביער הקדושים שבהרי ירושלים סמוך למושב כסלון. מונצחים בה תולדות עם ישראל משואה לתקומה. יצר אותה האמן נתן רפופורט ניצול שואה בעצמו. היא נחנכה בחודש מרץ 1972. צורת האנדרטה היא של שני גלילי מגילה המביעים את היות עם ישראל עם הספר. גליל אחד מתאר את השואה והשני את התקומה. האנדרטה הוקמה ביוזמת ובתרומת quotבני בריתquot בארצות הברית. האתר למיקומה נבחר על ידי יוסף וַייְץ מראשי קקquotל וממייסדי מינהל מקרקעי ישראל. וויקיפדיה
