Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_72932_DSC08338JPG Notes: המבנה נבנה בסגנון באוהאוס שבגרמניה בדצמבר 1936 לאחר שחברי הקיבוץ קיבלו הלוואה מההסתדרות לטובת קליטת עולים חדשים מגרמניה חברי הקיבוץ לקחו חלק בבנייה שנעשתה על ראש גבעה כאשר עיקר עבודתם הייתה הנחת לבנים ויציקת בטון ב 1939 המבנה נחנך הוא נחשב לאחד מחדרי האוכל הגדולים ביותר בארץ ישראל שהיו קיימים באותה העת בנוסף לארוחות המשותפות שנעשו במבנה קיימו בו מפגשים הצגות סרטים קונצרטים ואירועי תרבות נוספים של חברי הקיבוץחברי הפלמח התאמנו בקיבוץ ובנו מספר סליקים אך הבריטים לא מצאוםויקיפדיה
