Description |
Pipe organ and bench. The pewter pipes are in three rows with the visible pipes decorated with gold leaf and flowers. Made by Derrick and Felgemaker, (which is imprinted above keys), Erie PA, 1831. Used in Hillsborough in the Presbyterian Church. A similar organ by the same builder is in the Cathedral at Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana. Leslie Derrick, grandchild of Silas Lusher Derrick, the organ maker, has provided information on the family which is in the acquisitions book. |
