Description
Français : Piquet de grève aux puits d'Yèvre et de Saint-Dominique dans le quartier de la Béraudière à La Ricamarie le 20 octobre 1948. Les grévistes empêchent l'accès de la mine aux Compagnies républicaines de sécurité envoyés par le ministre de l'Intérieur Jules Moch. Cet événement s'inscrit dans le cadre de la grève des mineurs de 1948. La photographie est notamment publiée dans le journal L'Humanité du lendemain[1].
English: Picket line at the Yèvre and Saint-Dominique pits in the Béraudière district of La Ricamarie on October 20th, 1948. The strikers prevented the Republican Security Corps from accessing the mine. This event is part of the miners' strike of 1948. The photograph is notably published in the newspaper L'Humanité the next day.[2].
