Description
English: Pithla

Pithla, a beautiful, creamy and tasty combination of taste with convenience and health with long history and roots in ancient Maharashtra Pithla usually eaten with bhakri has its roots back in Maharashtra's old times when hard workers like farmers used to eat the dish while working in farms. Eating Pithla Bhakri is also related religiously with Gajanan maharaj a saint in maharshta where they loved to eat pithla bhakri as meal offered by their followers.

There is a counter part of pithla known as jhunka which is mistakenly called as pithla. Almost all ingredients are same in both dishes but the proportion of each which is beauty of both dishes. Jhunka needs more oil, gram flour, extra mirchi masala, garlic and little water where as pithla has all ingredients in less proportion without red masala. Hence pithla can be made with less ingredients, more simplicity and tremendous taste. Despite its rich taste there is very little information available on internet Also being prepared with less ingredients it is also soothing to stomach and can be made even if the ingredients are scarce. This dish is still helping common hardworking people by filling their stomachs during their tough time and giving them proper nutrition.

Benefits of pithla- 1. Soothing to stomach and has creamy texture due to more water which helps body to be hydrated. 2. Can be prepared with very little amount of ingredients with just 5 fundamental ingredients to fill stomach-- Gram flour, oil, water, green chilli and little turmeric. 3. Require very little time and fills the dishes with liitle ingredients. 4. Has every ingredient in sufficient amount hence can be eaten by everyone than its counterpart jhunka, which needs more oil, flour, garlic and masala which may not be suitable for everyone

This Photo captured is intended not only to show the Rich Pithla Bhakri but also simple life style of common man without compromising the health. Also the photo is captured on Galaxy m21 by keeping the original picture original natural and unfiltered ,no effects but only little cropping to avoid unnecessary elements.
