| Description |
English: Built in 1988, this annex serves as the Amtrak Station for Pittsburgh, replacing the larger former Union Station next door. The building is low-slung and wraps around the side and rear of Union Station, with a shed over the railroad lines, and sits on part of the former site of the train shed of Union Station next door. The simple building is clad in stucco and metal panels, as well as buff brick and glass block. Though not as impressive as its predecessor, the train station is still very functional, and provides ample waiting space and services to train passengers in Pittsburgh. |
