Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a strong, multi-stem perennial plant at the end of its flowering season: At the tips of the inflorescences, there are a few flowers left, but most of them have closed already to produce fruit. The corollas seem to be white. On a best-guess basis, this might be a Verbascum species, and with white flowers, the top candidate would be Verbascum lychnitis. However, the general habitus, without any ramification in the upper part of the stems does not look much like V. lychnitis.
Location: Isle of Purbeck, near Bournemouth, England.
