| Description | Planta bajo el sector elevado de la autopista de Prados del Este (Caracas, Venezuela). Esta planta creció más de metro y medio hacia abajo, buscando los rayos solares que sólo la alumbraban durante unas dos horas diarias por la sombra que producía el edificio del centro comercial Paseo Las Mercedes. Un caso curioso en que el geotropismo positivo de las raíces queda anulado por el heliotropismo positivo de las hojas. Algo que sólo es posible ver en la zona intertropical. Autor: Fev.
