ZOROASTRIAN CENTRE

THIS ART DECO CINEMA BUILDING WAS DESIGNED IN 1936 BY F.E. BROMIGE AND BUIlT BY T.F. NASH LTD. AT FIRST IT WAS THE GROSVENOR, THEN IN 1938 THE ODEON, IN 1950 THE GAUMONT, IN 1964 THE ODEON AND IN 1981 THE ACE. FROM 1990 IT WAS A BAR, THE CINE BAR EXPERIENCE. IT WAS ACOUIRED BY THE ZOROASTRIAN TRUST FUNDS OF EUROPE IN 2000. IT WAS RESTORED AND REFURBISHED INTO A ZOROASTRIAN COMMUNITY CENTRE AND PLACE OF WORSHIP AND IS ITS EUROPEAN CENTRE.
