Description
English: Portal McClure; burned down and was demolished in 1929. Later, in 1932, the Portal Bulnes was built by architect Jorge Arteaga.

Portal Fernández Concha: Built in 1871 on the site of the "Sierra Bella Gateway", destroyed in a fire. Designed by the English architect, W. Hovender Hendry and financed, among others, by the brothers Pedro and Domingo Fernández Concha.

Guillermo Renner, French landscape architect, arrived in Chile in 1873. He created gardens and urban parks at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century. Among others, he designed in 1896, the remodeling of the Plaza de Armas, and conceived an irregular garden with araucarias, cedars, ceibos, oaks, palms and pataguas.

Portal Fernández Concha: Construido en 1871 sobre el lugar en que estuvo el "Portal Sierra Bella", destruido en un incendio. Diseño del arquitecto inglés, W. Hovender Hendry y financiado entre otros, por los hermanos Pedro y Domingo Fernández Concha.

Guillermo Renner, paisajista francés, llega a Chile en 1873. Creó jardines y parques urbanos, fines del siglo 19 y comienzo del siglo 20. Entre otros, diseñó en 1896, la remodelación de la Plaza de Armas, y concibió un jardín irregular con araucarias, cedros, ceibos, encinas, palmeras y pataguas.
