Summary
[edit]DescriptionPluto's Tombaugh Regio - raw images mosaic - edited.jpg |
English: UPLOADER NOTES: A mosaic of raw New Horizons LORRI images of the western section of the Tombaugh Regio area of Pluto, assembled with Photoshop by the uploader.
The original mosaic has been further edited by the uploader by increasing contrast and midtone contrast, darkening highlights and lightening shadows, to bring out faint features in the image. The lobed plain of Sputnik Planum is shown, along with the Norgay Montes at lower left, part of the dark Cthulhu Regio at middle left, and the Hillary Montes just to its right. North is towards the upper right. The images used were lor_0299175145_0x632_sci_7, lor_0299175097_0x632_sci_3, lor_0299174953_0x632_sci_3, lor_0299174905_0x632_sci_8, lor_0299174857_0x632_sci_3, lor_0299174713_0x632_sci_5 and lor_0299174665_0x632_sci_3. |
