| Description | Opposite to the Rainforest Restaurant are the Poring Hot Springs proper. People generally visit Poring for the Poring Hot Spring and Nature Reserve which houses both open-air and private cabin baths whose water contains sulphur that is known for its skin-curative properties. The natural hot spring is perfect to soothe tired and aching muscles after the long climb up Mount Kinabalu. I could not spot any of the baths though, which is probably I was not looking for them. My purpose of coming here was to do the Canopy Walk. Pictures follow later on in this set. (Kota Kinabalu, East Malaysia, Nov. 2013) |
