La Envoltura Nuclear (EN) está representada en gris, las densidades luminales en amarillo y el SR en azul.
a) La parte superior del Anillo Citoplasmático del Poro (CPR), se muestra en color dorado.
b) La parte superior del Anillo Nuclear del Poro (NPR), se muestra en color verde.
c) Vista de la sección nucleocitoplasmática central (25 nm de espesor) a través de la estructura NPC; Interfaz CCR (A) y SR-CCR (B).

Las estructuras de enlace extendidas sobresalen del NPR (C y D), así como del CPR (E). La posición putativa de los complejos Nup214 / Nup88 14 , 27se indica con F.
