Description
English: Misao Kawai was a general of the Imperial Japanese Army (October 26, 1864 - October 11, 1941). He originates from Oita prefecture. He fought in the Russo-Japanese War. He was a Commander-in-Chief of the Kwantung Army, Chief of the General Staff of the Imperial Japanese Army, a Privy Councillor of the Japanese Empire, alumni of the Imperial Japanese Army Academy, recipient of the Order of the Rising Sun.
