Français : Portrait de Louis de Sales (1577-1654), Frère cadet de François de Sales, après des études au collège d'Annecy, il sert la diplomatie du duc de Savoie en Suisse. Il conduit les négociations de Dôle dans le Jura qui mettent fin au conflit opposant la Savoie à l'Espagne (1616). Spécialiste des fortifications, il remet en état celles de Dôle, et défend la ville contre les Français en 1630. Il a été gouverneur du château de Montmélian en 1603 et capitaine-gouverneur du château d'Annecy. Il écrit une tragédie et un ouvrage pour l'instruction de la noblesse. |
