日本語: 武田二十四将板垣信方の肖像画。松本楓湖画、板垣退助揮毫

幕末の絵師・松本楓湖によって描かれ、武田信玄の菩提寺である恵林寺に奉納された。明治5年4月12日(1872年5月18日)、武田信玄の三百回忌法要(死去から299年目に行われる仏教式の慰霊祭)が恵林寺で斎行され、武田二十四将の子孫らが一堂に会した。この時、板垣信方の嫡流子孫にあたる板垣退助が、作者の松本楓湖や恵林寺住職の強い求めに応じて画讃を揮毫したもの。

松本楓湖自身も勤皇画家として知られ、剣術を修め水戸藩武田耕雲斎藤田小四郎らと交わり勤王党を援助している。松本は元治元年(1864年)天狗党義挙が起こるとこれに参加、幕府軍に敗れて一時郷里で蟄居した。板垣は幕吏に追われた天狗党の中村勇吉相楽総三、里見某らを江戸築地の土佐藩邸に匿っており、松本とも浅からぬ縁があった。板垣退助直筆の書は非常に稀少で貴重なものである。松本は明治期には自由民権活動家・末広鉄腸の小説の挿絵なども描いている。

Itagaki Nobukata was the ancestor of Itagaki Taisuke. This calligraphy was written by Itagaki Taisuke at the 299th anniversary memorial service for Takeda Shingen in Erinji Temple. Itagaki Taisuke's handwriting is rare and valuable.

松本楓湖(1840~1923)が、安政7年1月3日(1860年1月25日)に描き、板垣退助(1837~1919)が、明治5年4月12日(1872年5月18日)に讃を揮毫したもの。両著作者死去より101年以上経過。
