Portret van Jacob Adriaensz. van Domburgh, heer van Aagtekerke, St. Janskerke, Oostrum en Spraelandt, ridder van Jeruzalem, die tevens een tijdlang stadhouder en baljuw was van hertog Karel van Gelderland, op 82-jarige leeftijd. Ten halve lijve. De geportretteerde wordt geïdentificeerd aan de hand van zijn familiewapen (met burcht) linksboven (het wapen van Domburg). Het familiewapen rechtsboven is dat van zijn moeder, Christoffelina van Borsselen (zie wapen van Borsele). Om zijn hals draagt Van Domburgh het Jeruzalemkruis. In zijn rechterhand houdt hij een palmtak vast. Het kruis en de palmtak zijn de symbolen voor de Jeruzalemvaarder.
