Attributed to Antonio Vanegas Arroyo (Firm) as publisher; signed in plate lower right: Posada. :In 1910 this fierce calavera appeared in a broadside with the headline "Calaveras del montón, número 1," reproduced in Posada's Mexico / Ron Tyler. Washington, D.C. : Library of Congress, 1979, p. 268. Bequest and gift: Caroline and Erwin Swann; 1977; (DLC/PP-1977:215.604).
