The hermitage Svato-Prokop in the Prokops valley in Prague. The author of the drawing is Czech painter and graphic artist Oskar Fiala (1860-1918).

Čeština: Na kresbě pocházející z doby před rokem 1887 je na vrcholku vápencového masivu vidět zřetelně poutní kostel svatého Prokopa; pod ním asi v půlce kopce pak malý domek, kde přebýval poustevník. Za poustevnou se nacházela Prokopská jeskyně. Od poustevny vede cesta dolů do údolí (k Dalejskému mlýnu s hospodou).
English: The drawing from before 1887 clearly shows the pilgrimage church of St. Procopius on the top of the limestone massif; below it, about halfway up the hill, is the small house where the hermit lived. Behind the hermitage was the Prokop Cave. From the hermitage a path leads down into the valley (to the Dalejský mill with a pub). |
