A Brilliant Wedding. Yesterday the New York Herald gave an account of a brilliant wedding in that city, Saturday evening, with pictures of the bride and groom. The bride, Miss Adelite Rice Collins, is the daughter of Mr. J. N. Collins, the wholesale fur merchant of New York, years ago a New Haven merchant, and who is the owner of Collins' block on Chapel street, The groom is Mr. Powhatan Roberts Robinson. "The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents, No. 324 West Fifty-sixth street. The Rev. Wilton Merle Smith, pastor of the Central Presbyterian church, officiated. The bride wore a gown of white satin, trimmed with old point lace, and a veil of tulle. Her only ornament was a jeweled dagger, a gift of the groom. Miss Estelle Marzolf, the maid of honor, was dressed in green satin. Mr. Frederic N. Collins, the bride's brother, was the best man. The ushers were Messrs. E. Burt Locke and John Welsiger. The ceremony was witnessed by relatives only, a reception following. The young couple are both well known in amateur theatrical circles in this city and are prominent members of the Students' Dramatic club. Mr. Robinson is also a member of the Southern society. He is a descendant of the Virginia family known as the "Robinsons of Hewick," who emigrated from England in 1666 and settled in southern Virginia. Mr. Robinson's name Powhatan came from an ancestor who married a descendant of Pocahontas."
