Description
Deutsch: Die Predigerstuhlwiese ist eine Wiese im südlichen Wienerwald im Süden der Gemeinde Kaltenleutgeben. Am 15. Juli 1934 fand dort eine Kundgebung für die Opfer des 15. Juli 1927 (Justizpalastbrand) statt. Die Veranstaltung war von Mitgliedern der damals bereits verbotenen Sozialistischen Partei organisiert und wurde von damaligen Ordnungskräften gewaltsam aufgelöst, wobei zwei Fahnenträger, Johann (Hans) Fröhlich und Richard Lehmann, beide aus Liesing bei Wien, erschossen wurden. Eine Gedenktafel, die allerdings einige Hundert Meter entfernt an der Fahrstraße aufgestellt ist, erinnert an diesen Vorfall.
