Description Preparação da área do Projeto 32 - Mar 2014. O método de execução da estaca hélice contínua exige a colocação da armação após a sua concretagem. A armação, em forma de gaiola, é introduzida na estaca por gravidade ou com auxílio de um pilão de pequena carga, ou de um vibrador. As estacas submetidas a esforços de compressão levam uma armação no topo, em geral de 2 metros de comprimento. No caso de estacas submetidas a esforços transversais ou de tração será possível a introdução de armação de maior comprimento já tendo se conseguido a introdução de 17 metros de armação. No caso de armações longas, as gaiolas devem ser constituídas de barras grossas e estribo espiral soldado na armação longitudinal para evitar a sua deformação durante a introdução no fuste da estaca.
