| Description | Super-Slab® panels were staged at a temporary location and delivered to the site during the installation. After the ramp was closed and traffic detoured, removal of existing pavement could begin (shown here) as part of the FHWA, Highways for LIFE project with Virginia DOT to demonstrate the use of the PCPS jointed precast pavement system-Super-Slab® to replace a ramp lane leading to US-50 West during nighttime full closures. |
