Photo caption: President Taft Applauding Wagner When He Made A Two-Bagger To Center. This Remarkable Photograph Was Taken at the Ball Game at Exposition Park on Saturday, May 29th, by F.E. Bingaman, Staff Photographer of the Gazette Times. To the Left of the President Are Secretary of State P.C. Knox, President Arthur T. Hadley, of Yale, and Charles P. Taft of Cincinnati. A Portion of This Picture was published in the Gazette Times Sunday, May 30th, but the Entire Photograph is Reproduced Here Because of Requests from Those Who Wanted It in a Form to Be Preserved.; Newspaper Illustration from the Pittsburgh Gazette. President Taft began his term as President of the United States in 1909. Exposition Park was closed in June of 1909.
