Description

President Tajani expressed Parliament’s concern for the suffering of the Venezuelan people, at the opening of the session in Brussels.

“The European Parliament cannot stand by in silence” said President Tajani. The European Parliament gives its support to Juan Guaidó, he said, adding that peaceful solutions need to be found, so that Venezuelans can return to normal life and have access to food and medicine.

The President also offered his condolences to members of the family of the recently murdered mayor of Gdańsk Paweł Adamowicz, who were present in the chamber.
