Deutsch: Priggen oder auch Pricken markieren Priele, die bei Hochwasser auch als Fahrwasser dienen können: Das Fahrwasser ist mit eingesteckten Baumstämmen markiert, sodass man es auch dann noch erkennen kann, wenn die Flut die Wattenflächen überspült hat. An der Prigge vorne links im Bild sieht man noch zwei helle Vögel, wahrscheinlich Silbermöwen, die hier häufig vorkommen. Das Bild entstand von der Ostspitze der Nordseeinsel Wangerooge aus. Man blickt in etwa Richtung Südwesten. Das Festland im Hintergrund liegt etwas westlich von Schillig auf Höhe des Ortes Minsen. Quellseite: https://www.rhetos.de/html/lex/prigge.hm |
