Description
English: Princess Désirée, the third daughter of the late hereditary prince Gustaf Adolf and princess Sibylla, marries Baron Niclas Silfverschiöld. Here is the couple during the reception at Stockholm Palace. King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden in the foreground. Also in the photo are Princess Alice the Countess of Athlone, reigning Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxemburg (a few months before she abdicated), Prince Wilhelm of Sweden and the mother of the bride, Princess Sibylla Duchess of West Bothnia
