Description
English: Quarter at the Military Cemetery in Warsaw were bodies of 50 inmates of Pawiak prison were buried after the end of World War II. All of them were hanged by Nazi-Germans in public execution on 16th October 1943. Many victims – but not all of them – were members of communist Polish Worker’s Party.
Polski: Kwatera na Cmentarzu Wojskowym na warszawskich Powązkach, gdzie spoczywają szczątki 50 więźniów Pawiaka powieszonych przez Niemców w publicznej egzekucji 16 października 1943 r. Wiele spośród ofiar – choć nie wszystkie – było członkami komunistycznej Polskiej Partii Robotniczej.
