| Description |
English: School's seal of Private Waldschule Grunewald in Berlin-Grunewald, 56 Hagenstrasse. The imprint is from a leaving certificate dated January 1934 whose header shows Privatschule für Mädchen (= Private School for Girls) under its former address 19 Brahms Strasse. So old school report forms / report card forms from the time-span of 1930 to 1932 were continued to use or used up, respectively. They got the imprint of this school seal on it directly below the school report / report card's printed header in order to complete the actual name and address of the school. The seal's center shows the principal's name Mrs. Toni Lessler (1874–1952) and the phone number Uhl[and]. 7551. Uhland here indirectly refers to 161 Uhlandstrasse in Berlin-Wilmersdorf where educator Toni Lessler in 1912 started to teach circles of pupils by founding a so-called family school, but in fact it refers to one of Berlin's former local phone switching centers.
Deutsch: Stempel der Privaten Waldschule Grunewald in Berlin-Grunewald, Hagenstraße 56, Ecke Teplitzer Straße. Der abgebildete Stempelabdruck stammt von einem Abschlusszeugnis vom Januar 1934, dessen Formularkopf auf Privatschule für Mädchen, Berlin-Grunewald, Brahms-Straße 19, lautet. Demzufolge wurden alte Zeugnisformulare aus der Zeitspanne 1930 bis 1932 vom ehemaligen Schulstandort Brahmsstraße 19 weiterverwendet bzw. aufgebraucht und zusätzlich mit dem Stempel direkt unterhalb des Formularkopfes versehen, um auf diese Weise die aktuelle Bezeichnung und Adresse der Schule nachzutragen. Das Zentrum des Stempels verweist auf die Schulvorsteherin (-leiterin) Frau Toni Lessler und die Telefonnummer Uhl[and]. 7551, eine Rufnummer, die bereits in der Brahmsstraße 19 galt. Sie änderte sich während der NS-Zeit ab 1934 in zwei Schritten zu 892551. Uhland verweist hier indirekt auf die Uhlandstraße 161 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, wo Toni Lessler ab 1912 Schulzirkel einrichtete, eine so genannte Familien-Schule. In Verbindung mit der zugehörigen Telefonnummer verweist Uhland jedoch auf die lokale Telefon-Vermittlungsstelle. |
