Description
Français : Après la fuite du roi Louis-Philippe, Lamartine, Ledru Rollin, Dupont de l'Eure, Garnier-Pagès, Marie de Saint-Georges avaient été élus, avec Arago, membres du "gouvernement provisoire" par une assemblée populaire. La proclamation fut rédigée quelques heures plus tard, place de l'Hotel de Ville, devant la foule révolutionnaire. La scène est remarquablement décrite par Victor Hugo dans "Choses vues" (à la date du 24 février 1848), voir dans Wikisource : https://fr.wikisource.org/wiki/Page:Hugo_-_%C5%92uvres_compl%C3%A8tes,_Impr._nat.,_Choses_vues,_tome_I.djvu/337
