English: These two tubes are installed in a Fender Bandmaster Reverb guitar tube amplifier. They are 6N3C power tubes. The blue glow is caused by electrons colliding with gas molecules. The faint red glow in the power tubes is "red plating" caused by excessive electron flow hitting the tube plates (anodes). |
