Description
Español: Monumento al explorador Fernando de Magallanes, ubicado en la plaza Muñoz Gamero o plaza de Armas de Punta Arenas, Chile. Esta plaza es Monumento Nacional en la categoría de Zona Típica. La gran obra escultórica a Magallanes fue inaugurada en noviembre de 1920 y su autor es Guillermo Córdova. Según la tradición, si al indio fuegino (ona o selkman) del conjunto escultórico se le besa el pie colgante significará que volverá a esta ciudad algún día.
