Pyxine subcinerea Stirt., 1898

Photograph of a herbarium specimen showing a mineral gray thallus of radiating lobes with rounded laminal soralia.

This specimen of Pyxine subcinerea was growing on bark of a dying Norway Maple (Acer platanoides L.) along Ridge Road in western Baltimore County, Maryland, USA.
