English: QARA KHAN USTAJLU AND THE SAFAVID ARMY ATTACK THE OTTOMAN FORCE OF MUSTAFA PASHA SUPPLIED WITH ARTILLERY, FROM BIJAN'S TARIKH-I JAHANGUSTA-YI KHAQAN SAHIBQIRAN, ATTRIBUTABLE TO MU'IN MUSAVVIR, SAFAVID IRAN, CIRCA 1640
QARA KHAN USTAJLU ET L'ARMEE SAFAVIDE ATTAQUANT LES TROUPES OTTOMANES DE MUSTAFA PASHA ATTRIBUABLE A MU'IN MUSAVVIR, IRAN SAFAVIDE, CIRCA 1640 Scène tirée du Tarikh-i Jahangusta-yi Khaqan Sahibqiran, gouache sur papier réhaussée d'or, dépeignant une scène de taille acharnée dans un paysage montagneux, avec une ligne de texte en nasta'liq dans un nuage sur fond d'or de part et d'autre, la miniature bordée de marges finement enluminées à l'or Folio 31,5 x 22 cm. (12½ x 8½ in.) Safavid Art and Architecture, Cambridge, 2002, p.54). |
