Description
Español: Los QUIPUS (se pronuncia kipus) era un sistema de registro de información numérico y mnemotécnico creado por los Incas, antiguos pobladores de América del Sur (Perú, Ecuador, Bolivia y parte de Colombia, Chile y Argentina). El quipu constaba de un cordel horizontal del cual pendían varias cuerdas delgadas trenzadas. Estas eran de diferentes tamaños y en ellas se habían ejecutado grupos de nudos situados a intervalos distintos.
