Description
Svenska: Rök över väg U668 vid Karsvreten mellan Ängelsberg och Stabäck i Västervåla socken, Fagersta kommun, Västmanlands län, Västmanland, Sverige. Röken kommer från en stor skogsbrand i de västligaste delarna av Sala kommun och de nordöstligaste delarna av Surahammars kommun. Skogsbranden startade på torsdagen 2014-07-31 någonstans i skogsområdet nordost om Seglingsberg i nordöstra delen av Ramnäs socken i Surahammars kommun. Denna bild togs på söndagen 2014-08-03. På måndagskvällen 2014-08-04 beslutades om evakuering av orterna Västervåla och Ängelsberg. Branden hade då snabbt spritt sig till Västervåla socken i östligaste delen av Fagersta kommun och Karbennings socken i sydligaste delen av Norbergs kommun och omfattade då 100 kvadratkilometer. På natten mot tisdagen 2014-08-05 så hittades en 30-årig man ihjälbränd norr om Stabäck, alltså inom 2 km från platsen på detta foto.
