Description R.H. Swan, the predecessor of Farrah's grocery shop in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It was run by R.H. Swan, and Ann Farrah who was the paternal grandmother of John Farrah (1849–1907) who later ran the business. The picture is dated between the building of the pump room (1842) on the right of the picture, and when Joseph Farrah took over the business (1848).
