Summary
[edit]DescriptionROCS Nan Yang (DD-17).jpg |
English: ROCS Nan Yang (DD-17) was handed over to the Chinese navy in 1959, numbered DD-17, and belonged to the 11th Destroyer Squadron. The ship is equipped with MK-33 audio tracking torpedo, which is the first new anti-submarine weapon received by our country.
The ship participated in the search and rescue mission of the "August Six Seas" in the waters of the Nanpeng Islands in the Republic of my country. The navy single ship sails the farthest; this ship has participated in many Sino-US joint exercises during its service period and has achieved excellent results. In 1973, it was ordered to be decommissioned due to outdated equipment. |
