Stema comunei Cămăraşu se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular, cu marginile rotunjite, încadrat cu un căprior (chevron) de aur, încărcat cu trei ciorchini, fiecare având trei cireşe şi două frunze, în culori naturale.

În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află trei cununi de spice de grâu de aur.

În partea inferioară, în câmp roşu, se află o carte deschisă cu pană, totul de argint.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate

Cununa de spice de grâu semnifică ocupaţia de bază a locuitorilor, agricultura.

Ciorchinii de cireşe simbolizează obiceiul din calendarul popular din 24 iunie, în preajma solstiţiului de vară, şi târgul tradiţional al Cămăraşului - târgul cireşelor.

Cartea cu pană face trimitere la scriitorul Sütö András [n. 17 iunie 1927, Cămăraş, judeţul Cluj (interbelic) - d. 30 septembrie 2006, Budapesta]. Coroana murală, cu un turn crenelat, semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
